Modality of Care: Massage Therapy, Yoga, Reiki, Craniosacral, Ayurvedic Health Coaching

I studied Remedial Massage Therapy at Western College in Regina SK. While there I learned sports massage therapy, orthopedic assessment, muscle energy techniques and manual soft tissue work. Over the years I became interested in finding ways to treat the body more holistically. I studied Psychology, Yoga, Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy and eventually became a Yoga Therapist. By combining the modalities I've studied and learned I came up with something I call Yoga Integration. Please see below to read more about Yoga Integration. I believe the body has a natural ability to heal, but sometimes we need help in order for healing to occur. I aim to facilitate the body's natural ability to heal by simply creating the space for that healing to occur, whether it's a physical injury, muscle tension, stress or something deeper. I also teach massage therapy at the college level part-time, as well as continue to teach yoga and yoga workshops.  In January of 2024, I began a new journey to become an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner. While I'm in school I will be offering Ayurvedic health coaching at a discounted price.

I specialize in treating the following; Pre and post-orthopedic surgery, shoulder rehabilitation, fibromyalgia and physical pain, stress, anxiety, and depression.

I hold certifications in the following; Registered Massage Therapist, Myofascial Cupping, Yoga Therapist, Reiki Level 3 Practitioner, Yin Yoga Certification, Restorative Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga 200hr, Advanced Yoga Teacher Training, Cranial Sacral Therapy Level 1 (Upledger).

Massage (Deep Tissue/Therapeutic/Relaxation):
As an experienced massage therapist, I offer focused treatments. Deep Tissue and Therapeutic treatments typically target one or two painful areas that have been causing chronic tension. I am able to treat soft tissue injuries like shoulder impingement, ligament sprains, carpal tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, whiplash and much more. Relaxation treatments will focus on calming the body, nourishing the tissues and putting you into a peaceful state.
Cupping is included as needed.

Digestive System and Lymphatic Massage: 60 min - $130
A unique treatment that combines lymphatic drainage massage with abdominal visceral massage. This treatment promotes the passage of food through the digestive system, specifically the large intestine. The lymphatic drainage techniques promote the flow of lymph that may be built up in the lymph nodes and help boost the immune system. This treatment is excellent for when you're doing a cleanse. Please come with an empty stomach prior to this treatment.

Reiki and Craniosacral Healing: 60 min - $130
I blend tools learned from Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy by tuning into the physical flow of water and extracellular fluid in the body.  This allows me to treat the physical and subtle body at the same time. The ultimate goal is relaxation, the opening of mental and emotional blockages and allowing the body's natural ability to heal.

Holistic Detox Package: 3 sessions - $330
Detoxing has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic and Chinese Medicine, Ancient Egypt, Greece, India and China. Detoxing is used to cleanse and clear the body of toxins.
This package includes 3 treatments that provide a holistic detox and reset to the body. A Digestive and Lymphatic massage, a Reiki and Craniosacral session and a full body massage. Each session will be geared to your individual needs and constitution.

Yoga Integration: 60 min $140 / 90 min $170
Each session combines Yoga, Reiki, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Massage Therapy. We begin with a discussion and an assessment to find out where your yoga session will focus. As you begin to move I’ll observe the way your body flows through yoga poses; the muscle, myofascial and energetic restrictions are noted and worked through by utilizing Reiki, Massage and Pranayama (breathing) techniques. Each session is unique to you and your body. Your session includes specific yoga poses tailored to your needs to practice on your own time. After sessions, many people report feeling empowered, open, lighter, less pain and energized.

Ayurvedic Health Coaching: *Discounted rates while in school*
Ayurveda has been practiced for thousands of years throughout India, it is considered to be one of the oldest forms of holistic medicine. “Ayurveda” literally means the science of life. An Ayurvedic Practitioner treats the mind, body, and spirit to promote a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life. The aim of practicing Ayurveda is to connect with your true self, and your spirit (Atma) through simple yet profound lifestyle changes. During an Ayurvedic health coaching session you will learn about your Dosha also known as your unique constitution. Once this is determined a thorough health history is gathered and you will be treated through a combination of recommended lifestyle changes, meditation, nutrition, yoga poses and mantras.
