One of our favourite drinks coming into cozy season consists of these simple ingredients:

Ginger - warming in nature and therefore it is really supportive in combatting cold viruses, supporting digestion and is an overall tonic.

Honey - antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antivral.

Lemon - alkaline in nature and helps to rid the body of inflammation.

Hot water - allows everything to breakdown appropriately and makes all the ingredients bioavailable.

Cut up three or four thin slices of ginger and add it to hot water with a squeeze of lemon. Allow it to steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Add honey to taste.
